Job Description:

Vsquare Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing robust BI solutions. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Power BI reporting, data modeling, Snowflake architecture, and data visualization best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create efficient data models, implement Row-Level Security (RLS), and optimize report performance.
• Develop Power BI visuals using a variety of chart types, with a deep understanding of when and how to use them effectively.
• Implement Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.
• Set up data binding between different datasets and visuals for dynamic, insight-driven reporting.
• Design and manage schemas and email alert notifications based on report triggers or data thresholds.
• Integrate and work extensively with Snowflake, including:
• Understanding of different types of data warehouses (Virtual, Physical, Hybrid)
• Handling structured/unstructured data storage and processing
• Working with external tables, staging areas, and data pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Custom Visuals)
• Strong understanding of Data Modeling and RLS implementation
• Knowledge of data binding techniques and interactive visualizations
• Experience with Power BI Service including scheduled refresh, sharing, and workspace management
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake DWH architecture and data storage patterns
• Experience with external tables, schema design, and email alerts in reporting systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Snowflake or Power BI certification is a plus
