Position Title: Postdoc Research Associate - Engineering Appointment Type: Post Doc/Trainee Job Description: Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of this position include developing numerical methods and tools to conduct multi-phase flow machine learning and aero-acoustic optimization, publishing high-impact journal papers, presenting research results at various workshops, conferences, or meetings, helping with project reports, and mentoring graduate students. Required Minimum Qualifications: * Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a related area Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated record of high-impact journal publications * Demonstrated experience in mathematics and numerical algorithm development * Demonstrated experience in adjoint methods and machine learning * Experience in DAFoam or OpenFOAM * Demonstrated experience in computational fluid dynamics and design optimization.
