A leading entertainment company is seeking a Post-Production Coordinator to join their team in Burbank, CA. This role will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of one of the streaming post production teams, contributing to the efficiency and execution of projects from development through final delivery. You’ll work cross-functionally with departments including Development, Production, Legal, Marketing, PR, Operations, Casting, and various technical teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, communicates clearly, and has a strong interest in production management—especially post-production. This is not a creative role; we're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the operational and logistical side of content delivery.
- Onsite in Burbank
- Rate: $25-27/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative and project support to the Post-Production Executive for unscripted original content.
- Manage complex scheduling and correspondence, including vendor meetings and internal check-ins.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare expense reports.
- Take detailed meeting notes and prepare reports, grids, and Airtable dashboards for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain and distribute up-to-date post-production documentation, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Track and manage post assets across current and completed projects in collaboration with the Production team.
- Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners such as studios, production companies, and vendors.
- Monitor key industry events, important post milestones, and relevant vendor and studio meetings.
- Support various administrative and operational needs across development and production, including deliverables tracking and follow-up.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in entertainment, ideally within a post-production environment (network, studio, vendor, agency, or production company).
- Strong knowledge of post workflows, deliverables, and documentation.
- Experience reviewing budgets and familiarity with Movie Magic software.
- Proficiency in Airtable, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities; strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to stay organized and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Strong assistant experience: calendar management, call scheduling, and handling contacts.
- Must be local to or within commuting distance of Burbank, CA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in TV & Film, Journalism, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience supporting senior-level executives, particularly within unscripted TV or post-production.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in post-production and production management (not creative development).
