Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented POS Software Tester to join our dedicated team in New Delhi.

In this on-site, full-time role, you will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our point-of-sale software solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will involve executing test cases, diligently identifying and documenting software defects, and collaborating closely with our development and QA teams to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Test Execution And Analysis

• Execute predefined test cases thoroughly and accurately to identify software defects and verify functionality against requirements.
• Analyze test results meticulously to understand the root cause of failures and provide clear and concise defect reports.
• Document all identified defects with detailed steps to reproduce, severity, and priority in our bug tracking Assurance and Testing Processes :
• Adhere to established Quality Assurance practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
• Participate in test planning and design sessions, providing valuable input based on your testing experience.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive Test Cases and test and Communication :
• Work closely and collaboratively with software development and other QA team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with the team regarding test progress, defect status, and potential risks.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and productive work Improvement :
• Stay updated with the latest software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing to Detail :
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of testing, ensuring thorough coverage and accurate :
• Proven experience in Test Execution and Software Testing methodologies.
• Strong Analytical Skills to effectively evaluate software defects, understand their impact, and assess software performance.
• Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and experience in Test Case development and execution.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-based environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Qualifications (A Plus) :
• Previous experience testing POS systems or software.
• Familiarity with different types of software testing (e.g., functional, integration, regression, usability).
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
