Position Summary:

The Sales and Resident Relations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting both the sales and resident experience functions within an apartment community in the portfolio. This position is responsible for assisting prospective residents through the sales process while also ensuring current residents receive exceptional service and engagement throughout their tenancy. The Portfolio Sales and Resident Relations Coordinator is responsible to provide support throughout the portfolio of Southern California properties to cover sales and operations as needed.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and build a strong Picerne Resident experience brand that supports the sales team and builds exceptional resident relationships to encourage resident retention
  • Handle day-to-day resident relations tasks to provide a luxury lifestyle brand
  • Collaborate and assist with incremental revenue generating ideas


Tangibles in Sales Support:

  • Greet and assist prospective residents, provide property tours, and promote community features and benefits.
  • Respond promptly to sales inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Assist with processing applications, lease agreements, and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects and sales activity in property management software.


Resident Relations:

  • Serve as a main point of contact for current residents, addressing questions, service requests, and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Assist in handling resident move-ins, orientations, and move-outs with care and efficiency.
  • Ensure timely communication of community updates, notices, and policy changes.
  • Collect and track feedback to improve resident satisfaction and retention.


Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain organized files and documentation in accordance with company policies and fair housing regulations.
  • Assist with rent collection and ensure proper follow-up on delinquencies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-changing environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant luxury hotel / residential operations, sales and or marketing disciplines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A team player who is resourceful and self-motivating, with the ability to learn on the job through colleagues and technical resources and likewise, pass on learned techniques to others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of Yardi, and other related residential software application preferred
  • Flexibility in this role is essential as the hours of work can vary to include resident events or activations

Location & Travel:

  • This position is based at the portfolio communities
  • Travel will be required 100% of the time between our apartment buildings throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County areas
