A highly successful real estate investment company located in the Woburn area is seeking a Portfolio Controller to join its growing team. This locally owned company has recently completed several acquisitions and continues to expand, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a high-impact role. The Portfolio Controller will oversee accounting operations for commercial property management, with key responsibilities including supervising staff, managing acquisitions, and leveraging expertise in property management systems like Yardi. BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. 8-10+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within commercial real estate operating companies or private equity real estate firms. Reporting to the Director of Finance and CFO, this position provides visibility into strategic business initiatives and leadership decision-making. Keys:

BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

8-10+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within commercial real estate operating companies or private equity real estate firms.

Strong understanding of GAAP principles, financial controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Proven track record of leading financial close processes, managing audits, and preparing financial statements.

Experience implementing financial systems, ERP software, or accounting software; proficiency in Yardi is preferred
