UBS Bank USA is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Analyst in Salt Lake City, UT.

We're looking for a Portfolio Analytics Analyst to:
* Monitor risk for all security backed loans, ensuring credit limits, outstanding exposure, and existing collateral meet all established credit risk standards. Provide analytical reports and board meeting presentations.
* Work with internal departments to identify potential solutions for margin calls to minimize client impact. Monitor intraday market conditions to identify accounts that have increased risk of failure.
* Create and analyze trend reporting for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly data. Review high risk accounts to ensure proper setup and documentation.
* Investigate queries received from branch representatives and credit officers for delinquent accounts.
* Complete tasks related to the review of loan and collateral portfolios.

Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement
* This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematical Finance and Financial Technology, Economics, or related field of study.
Alternate Education & Experience Requirement
* The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematical Finance and Financial Technology, Economics, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as an IT Risk Management, or related occupation in lieu of a Master's degree.
Position requires knowledge of the following:
* advanced Microsoft Excel, Python, R, financial markets
* probability of default rating models, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data
* user listing data, data risk trends and patterns, monitoring control status versus global regulatory obligations
* mapping IT processes and controls to related business functions, tagging risk categories of business functions
* credit infrastructure and products, including equities, government bonds, corporate bonds, listed options, and futures
* SQL. Knowledge may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or teaching experience.
