The Opportunity
WesCEF is seeking a skilled and experienced PMO Lead for a 12-month fixed term contract to oversee the successful delivery of our IT&S projects and programs. In this key role, you’ll lead a small, high-performing project team, manage our IT&S project portfolio, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and governance frameworks.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our portfolio is prioritised, well-executed, and delivers value across the business, while continuously improving project delivery standards and supporting system strategy and planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management and reporting of the IT&S project portfolio, including prioritisation and assurance processes.
- Deliver key projects and programs of work across applications and digital systems.
- Provide leadership to a small team of Project Systems Analysts and Coordinators.
- Maintain and enhance project management tools, templates, and methodologies in line with EPMO standards.
- Drive project delivery from business case through to implementation, including post-implementation reviews and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, plan, and resource upcoming initiatives.
- Support strategic planning activities including system roadmaps and future demand.
About You
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in delivering IT programs and managing PMOs or IT portfolios.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on collaboration and outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and project teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
- Sound understanding of IT systems, development lifecycles, and enterprise project frameworks.
