Context

In India, SYSTRA is an international consulting and engineering company operating in the fields of Metros, High Speed Rail, Railways, Roads, Buildings, Urban planning, and Water Infrastructure for public and private organizations.

CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. Starting from Feasibility/Concept stage to Detailed Design to IFC/Shop drawings, the disciplines involved have experience of designing in accordance with various international codes and delivered projects across the world.

CTR team has successfully delivered some major projects in UK, UAE, Tanzania, KSA, Australia, Canada and Denmark. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. We played an instrumental role in delivering 3 major Sublots on HS2 with our teams proactively engaging with Front Office in UK and delivering beyond client expectations. This resulted in India tam receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2.

CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. The technical and management teams within CTR get an opportunity to work and interact with other CTR teams within Systra Group from Paris, Poland, Dubai, Philippines and Brazil.

We are seeking an experienced PMO to oversee and coordinate project management activities within our division.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Project Assistance: Support project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Documentation: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports. Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, scope changes, and project timelines.
  • Financial Monitoring: Prepare project cashflow and project agreements. Acutely monitor project financials in terms of revenue, cost, invoice, and collection. Track project variations and raise monthly invoices, updating the invoice and collection planning for the entire project.
  • Resource Coordination: Help coordinate and allocate resources effectively across projects to optimize performance and meet project objectives.
  • Risk Monitoring: Assist in identifying potential risks and support the development of mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Performance Tracking: Help monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to project managers.
  • Stakeholder Support: Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to ensure alignment and transparency. Prepare and distribute regular project updates, reports, and presentations to clients and senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing best practices in project management.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor and ensure adherence to the project scope, quality standards, and deadlines with respect to company policies and procedures.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word to create tools and dashboards that facilitate communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Power BI skills are preferred.
  • Meeting Coordination: Assist in preparing and maintaining project status reports, meeting minutes, and other necessary documentation.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • PGPM from recognized institute/University
  • Experience in Project Initiation, Project Planning; Project Monitoring & Controlling; Project Tracking; Project Closure.
  • Preparing and Updating Microsoft Project Schedules.
  • Proven ability to stay within approved budgets, schedules & achieve objectives.
