Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PLC Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated control systems for industrial equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems and be capable of troubleshooting and optimizing automated systems to improve productivity, quality, and safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in PLC programming, automation, and controls engineering.

Skills:

• Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems using platforms such as Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar.
• Develop HMI/SCADA applications to interface with control systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware/software issues in automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to define control system requirements.
• Perform system integration, commissioning, and field startup of automated systems.
• Support production operations with controls-related maintenance and upgrades.
• Maintain thorough documentation including wiring diagrams, control logic, and system architecture.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO, NFPA 70E).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for system performance and reliability.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with robotic systems and industrial automation equipment.
• Certifications in automation or controls engineering.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
