Hardware Design Engineer:

Seeking a highly motivated, talented and experienced Hardware Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development of our next-generation AI Server Systems, who can be a team player developing the Hardware designs The ideal candidate must have a successful track record of delivering complicated high speed printed circuit board assemblies for HPC Servers and must possess skill sets related hardware design including component selection, schematics entry, layout development and hardware validation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of complex printed circuit board development
  • Schematics capture, review PCB layouts and generate Bill-of-Material (BoM)
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., SOC & System Architect, Power Product Design Team, Software development team, external vendors) to achieve seamless integration of hardware with other system components (e.g., Software and Firmware, solution cabinet/enclosure, validation equipment, etc.).
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, and debug hardware prototypes, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions to the original design.
  • Author technical documentation for hardware designs and test procedures.
  • Review of PCB and Package PDN, SI and PI simulations results, and noise analysis and post-Si PI characterization and correlating them with validation results.

Education & Experience

  • Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech) or postgraduate (M.E/M.Tech) Engineering/Electrical engineering
  • 5+ years’ hands on experience on high speed designs for High performance SOCs
  • Sound knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of PCB layout topologies. components, circuit debug.
  • Proficient with design tools (e.g. cadence tool set).
  • Proficient with various test equipment used for power systems evaluation (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, electronic loads, multimeters, etc.). Ability in using these tools to measure KPIs like voltage, current, power factor, efficiency, etc. is essential.
