Senior Kubernetes/AWS Engineer wanted

Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing organization in the Netherlands. They operate as a tech-driven entity within a larger corporation, focusing on modernizing the IT landscape. With a dedicated team of around 400 professionals, they are leaders in their field.

*Team Overview:*

The Catalog team provides a Kubernetes platform with self-service services to approximately 30-40 development teams. This team is responsible for building and customizing the Kubernetes environment and toolsets used by these development teams. Utilizing technologies like AWS EKS, Lambda, CDK, and CloudFormation, the team works on customizing and optimizing the Kubernetes platform using Python and Golang.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Develop and customize the Kubernetes environment and toolsets.

- Work with Kubernetes operators and controllers to enhance functionality.

- Utilize Python and Golang for customization and optimization.

- Implement AWS services including CDK, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

- Collaborate with an international team of six engineers, including four senior engineers.

*Qualifications:*

- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Kubernetes, including native Kubernetes.

- Strong proficiency in Python and Golang.

- Extensive experience with AWS, including CDK, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

- Ability to understand and work with Kubernetes at an in-depth level.
