Responsibilities: Design and Development: Create and improve plastic injection mold designs to meet product specifications and production requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of mold design. Conduct feasibility studies and provide input on material selection for optimal mold performance. Technical Expertise: Possess deep technical mastery of plastic injection mold design. Generate 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings. Prepare detailed mold specifications, checklists, and component drawings. Assist in product/tool development and molding process. Quality and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry safety standards. Create designs in line with company procedures, regulations, and client standards. Transition and Trial Run: Facilitate a smooth transition from design to development, testing, and production trial runs. Qualifications: Proficiency in plastic injection mold design. Familiarity with CAD software for 3D modeling. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
