Accountable for the operations (Safety, delivery, quality) & P&L of Hydraulic Actuators Division Europe in Wroclaw Poland with about 55+ employees. Leading a team of empowered employees to continuously meet and exceed customer & corporate expectations.
Responsibilities
Monitoring legal and corporate requirements related to the area of responsibility; ensuring that processes in the department comply with the requirements
Planning and implementing a strategy for the factory based on maps of the current and future state; legal and corporate requirements
Profitably grow the business and achieve Division and Corporate goals monthly, quarterly and annually. Work with current and potential customers to promote and leverage company technologies, systems, products and services
Lead strategy deployment for the operation concentrating on supply chain, Lean Initiatives and Sales growth in line with division and corporation strategy
Setting goals for subordinate employees and settling them, managing the work of subordinate employees and supervising the performance of duties; preparation and implementation of development plans for subordinate employees
Ensure the promotion of customer orientation throughout the factory
Coordinate the implementation of the location/corporate supply chain strategy through the Material coordinator to the Material team
Ensures the operation has adequate inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics
Ensuring that factory processes deliver expected results
Assurance with Pressure Equipment Directive standards
Accountable for driving Lean Initiatives throughout the operation to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented
Ensure a safe work environment and drive towards a zero-accident-culture
Represent the Operations at Business Unit and Country levels
Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drive a culture of accountability and results through High Performance Teams, strategy deployment and effective performance management.
Qualifications
A higher education degree in a technical or economic field
Experience at least 5 years in a similar position in another company or at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role, including a minimum of 2 years at Parker Hannifin
Fluent in English
Sufficient experience and background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resources management, inventory control and strategic planning
Basic knowledge of finances (P&L, balance sheet)
Knowledge of Lean Management/Lean manufacturing principles
Analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
