About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Helmond. This is a critical leadership position in a high-potential medical device production environment, with a strong focus on scaling operations, ensuring compliance, driving efficiency, and shaping the long-term production strategy.

As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the local management team, overseeing daily operations and implementing improvements across yield, quality, compliance and inventory. You will play a key role in preparing the plant for further scale-up in line with international group-strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the local operations and management team, driving a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement;
• Collaborate on long-term production strategy and capacity planning in alignment with global business goals;
• Drive improvements in, throughput, yield, process reliability, and cost efficiency;
• Manage supply chain and stock, optimizing inventory levels and production planning;
• Support regulatory readiness and audits/inspections;
• Support Product Development-strategies;
• Act as a bridge between technical operations and corporate functions; engage with international stakeholders and align local operations with global expectations;
• Report to the Group CEO, be supported by the Managing Director and a broader experienced international leadership team.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in preferably life sciences technology (e.g., Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Management);
• Proven experience (2nd or 3rd management role) in a medical device or high-tech manufacturing environment, ideally within cleanroom or regulated production settings;
• Strong knowledge of operations, compliance (ISO 13485) and process improvement;
• Excellent people management and leadership skills – able to coach, motivate, and build teams;
• Demonstrated experience in scaling production environments;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
• Strong communicator with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude and a passion for quality and performance;
• Comfortable operating in an international, fast-paced environment.
