🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Oversee daily operations of sheet metal manufacturing
• Plan and schedule production to meet output and delivery goals
• Collaborate with engineering/design to ensure manufacturability
  
  

Quality Control

• Enforce inspection procedures and quality checks
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and rework
  
  

Staff Management

• Develop staffing plans and ensure team competency
• Promote safety and compliance with training and job requirements
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure OSHA compliance and safe working conditions
• Conduct inspections, audits, and implement safety improvements
  
  

Inventory & Materials

• Monitor raw material use and inventory accuracy
• Minimize scrap and waste through efficient processes
  
  

Maintenance & Equipment

• Manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Ensure machinery is in top working condition
  
  

Performance Tracking

• Track KPIs like efficiency, downtime, and delivery
• Analyze data to identify and act on improvement areas
  
  

✅ Qualifications

• 15+ years in manufacturing/sheet metal; 7+ years in management in the sheet metal production environment.
• Expertise in precision sheet metal fabrication
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality, and safety
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficient in blueprint reading, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
