Key Responsibilities of a Plant HR Manager:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assisting in the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Handling employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies. Fosters positive relationships.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Training and Development: Identifying training needs and coordinating training initiatives.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Administering and maintaining compensation and benefit programs.
  • HR Policy Development: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Performance Management: Overseeing performance management systems and employee development programs.
  • Safety: Ensuring a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Guidance and Support: Providing HR guidance and support to plant management.
  • Joint Health and Safety Committee: Participate as a member of the joint health and safety committee. Ensure compliance by maintaining schedules and documents as per regulations
