Summary
Airswift is looking for a Planning and Scheduling Engineer to support a major client in Spring, TX on a 12-month contract
Responsibilities
Track, coordinate, and drive readiness for all pre-spud activities for unconventional developments
Oversee the full well lifecycle progression from ideation to spud readiness:
Opportunity generation
Land agreements
Subsurface roadmap
Permitting
Execution schedule coordination
Steward progress and identify schedule or planning risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues or adjust priorities to ensure timely readiness.
Develop, maintain, and monitor the overall project schedule and progress measurement system.
Review contractor schedules for logic, consistency with WBS and project plans, and usefulness.
Support project team with schedule analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
Analyze schedule trends and forecast potential impacts.
Prepare and compile weekly and monthly schedule/progress reports.
Participate in:
Developing control schedules and milestones
Contract bid evaluations
Gathering and documenting lessons learned
Respond to ad hoc requests from the Project Management Team (PMT) on controls/reporting.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
Project controls experience with a focus on planning and schedule control.
Relevant technical discipline certifications (based on experience).
