Job Responsibilities:

Drafting

• Preparation of Isometric piping and equipment layout for projects and modification work.
• Preparation of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) tender drawings.
• Assist in the design, coordination and preparation of specifications.
• Liaise with the Project Managers and Engineers for drawings and submission approval.
• Carry out timely and cost effective design activities in accordance with Company’s specification and statutory regulations.
• Provide field supervision and support for project work when necessary such as:

-Field evaluation and confirmation of design.

-Evaluate field changes and take corrective action when required.

• Update P&ID and E&I SLD drawings and maintain the master list

-Line tracing & verification of current P&IDs

Documentation

• Maintain and keep up to date Engineering Library & Maintenance Records/Reports etc.
• Serve as the Coordinator for the Management of Change (MOC), track and upkeep all the relevant documents.
• Maintain all ISO/SHEQ documents such as Procedures/Work Instructions/Risk Registers etc. and coordinate with the relevant owners to ensure it is updated promptly on time.
• Assist SHEQ in creating/updating SDS.
• Submit JI pass sponsorships requests for vendors/suppliers related to Maintenance, Engineering & SHEQ departments.
• Any other assignments as given by the Engineering Manager based on the plant requirements.

Requirements

• Experience and proficient in AutoCad
• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Min. 6 years of relevant working experience within oil & gas /petrochemical /chemical /pharmaceutical plant
• Knowledge in piping design, ASME standard such as 31.3 or 31.1 and document management will be an added advantage
• Well versed in MS Office applications
• Exposure to ISO Management system will be an added advantage
• Able to contribute actively, work well independently and in a team environment
• Positive attitude and hardworking, willing to work after office hours to complete assigned tasks
