What To Expect
You will be part of a team responsible for pipe fitting and welding tasks while also supporting general construction projects as needed. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of operations at Tesla. You will help uphold Tesla's commitment to quality and innovation.

What You'll Do

Utilize advanced welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on multiple materials to ensure strong and durable fittings and assemblies

Analyze technical drawings and schematics to plan and execute installations accurately, ensuring all specifications meet project requirements

Fabricate and assemble piping systems piping structures and components, adhering strictly to the outlined specifications and tolerances necessary for operational success

Conduct inspections for quality on welds and installations to verify compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Take on additional construction duties as needed to ensure project timelines are met, collaborating effectively with other trades and team members within the department

Work closely with team to identify and troubleshoot issues related to welding and installation processes, facilitating prompt resolutions

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while upholding safety standards by keeping the workspace organized and complying with all safety protocols, contributing to a culture of safety within Tesla

What You'll Bring

Proven background as a pipefitter, welder or general construction in manufacturing or industrial environments, demonstrating hands-on experience and technical proficiency

Strong knowledge in various welding methods and materials, along with a thorough understanding of safety standards related to welding and pipe fitting

Ability to comprehend and utilize complex technical documents, enabling accurate execution of projects

Willingness to engage in physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for prolonged periods

Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, in response to project demands and deadlines

Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly

Ability to work effectively within teams, engaging in clear and direct communication to ensure each project success. Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation

$32.00 - $48.27/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
