Job Description: Summary: The PIJIP Program Coordinator position actively administers PIJIP's academic and Arcadia grant-funded events and communications. The incumbent is responsible for the marketing, communication, and coordination of events internally for WCL students and the public. This position provides logistics for approximately 30 events and meetings each year, including the Intellectual Property at the Supreme Court Series, Peter A. Jaszi Distinguished Lecture, Career Coaching, meeting of network participants, and other events proposed by directors. Coordinates communications with students, academic network participants, access to knowledge coalition, and our external audiences, including two weekly newsletters, social media series (approx. 3 times a week), PIJIP-News items, and mailings to US News voters. Manages website and creates social media postings and newsletters. Essential Functions: 1.) Coordinate External and Internal Communications * Work closely with the Assistant Director and Director to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for PIJIP events, including summer and LLM. * Solicit postings for the PIJIP website from PIJIP staff, faculty, and student fellows. * Work with the Assistant Director to manage the production of promotional materials for ten to thirty events and conferences per year. 2.)Track Project and Academic Activities * Performed by PIJIP and its partners and create news items, blog posts (infojustrice.org), social media posts, and newsletters to the Academic and Civil Society networks summarize project-specific activities and outcomes. 3.) Manage Social Media Accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, & Instagram & YouTube) * Posting, updating, following, managing connections, analytics, and responding to questions received through the sites. * Design and update websites for PIJIP's academic programs and projects. 4.) Event Support * Provide logistical support for approximately 30 annual events and meetings. 5.) Graphic Design * Develop logos, graphics, letterhead, flyers, templates, and other branding for project partners and organizations, including the new Geneva Center, and craft formatted email blasts for events. Supervisory Responsibility: * This position may supervise 1-2 student research assistants. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: * Full-Time. * 35 hours per week. * Continuation of the program/position is contingent upon external funding. Salary Range: * $27.47 - $31.32 per hour. Required Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent. * 1-3 years of relevant experience. * Skill using social media tools and technology for program and/or organizational marketing and outreach. * Graphic design skills necessary to create engaging social media posts & flyers. * Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. * Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset. * Ability to multi-task and work effectively under deadline. * Exemplary organization skills. * Must be detail-oriented. * Skill using Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to develop and maintain databases. Preferred Education and Experience: * 3-6 years of relevant experience. * Experience in higher education. * Skills creating websites. * Prior experience working in social media and/or marketing.
