Overview:

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Auditors with a strong background in Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding. This position plays a critical role in ensuring provider compliance through annual and quarterly audits. You will be part of a focused audit pod currently consisting of four team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and maintain a comprehensive work plan to ensure all providers receive compliance audits throughout the year.
• Conduct audits of physician documentation and coding, with a primary focus on outpatient E&M services (95% E&M coding, minimal procedures).
• Review quarterly physician work to ensure coding accuracy, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Deliver post-audit education based on provider performance; education is triggered when provider scores fall below 89%.
• Collaborate with team members to sustain a high-performance audit process that aligns with business goals.
• Utilize EPIC for audit and documentation review.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one of the following active certifications: (CCS) (CPC) (RHIT) (RHIA)
• Strong proficiency in E&M coding; knowledge of outpatient care documentation standards.
• Previous experience auditing physician coding
• Familiarity with EPIC systems.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling available: start times between 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
• 80% of work will focus on auditing, with remaining time spent on provider education and collaboration.
