CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is a rapidly growing provider of occupational health services with over 50 locations nationwide. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled PA or NP to join our team.
Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Schedule & Pay:
* Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
* Pay Range: $67.00-$70.00 an hour
What Youll Do:
* Perform minor surgical and therapeutic procedures, including suturing, injections, immunizations, burn care, and foreign body removal (subcutaneous and ocular).
* Provide occupational health services, including DOT exams and treatment of workers' compensation injuries.
* Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
* Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
* Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality patient care.
What Were Looking For:
* 3+ years of experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.
* Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a healthcare team.
* Strong clinical skills with experience in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
* Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal communication skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Certifications:
* Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
* Active PA or NP license in the applicable state.
* Current DEA license.
* BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
Additional Requirement:
* Experience with occupational health protocols and familiarity with OSHA and workers compensation guidelines preferred.
* Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and ability to provide appropriate medical clearance and recommendations.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and other providers as needed.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, employers, and case managers.
* EMR proficiency and ability to complete documentation in a timely manner.
