Physical Therapist Assistant PRN Home Health Job description: We seek a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Conroe, TX. As a PRN PTA, you will assist the physical therapists. We are looking for experienced PTAs as well as new grads. Essential duties and responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Enhance patients' functional abilities and skills under the direction of a licensed PT. Work closely with patients to facilitate maximum physical recovery. Conduct skilled therapy interventions and consult with the physical therapist on treatment and progress. Record and document patient care services by established policies and procedures. Analyze tasks and customize the environment, tools, and materials to meet patients' needs and socio-cultural context. Evaluate patient responses to treatment, communicating findings to the Physical Therapy Supervisor for plan modifications. Interact professionally with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues to maintain a positive environment. Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary rounds as requested by the Physical Therapy Supervisor. Coordinate and prioritize schedules to meet patient treatment demands and departmental responsibilities.
