Be you, with us! #WeAreTFE The role of the Physical Security Tech II is to install, service and integrate top tier physical security solutions of various size and complexity. He/ She will report directly to the PhySec Security Engineer or PhySec Operations Manager, and is responsible for the performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the day-to-day tasks required to progress Projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: General Responsibilities: · Successful project and solution implementation · Perform assigned tasks timely, efficiently, and as accurately as possible · Identify and voice any obstacles to successful job performance timely and clearly to team lead and superintendent Responsibilities by Function: Solution Implementation · Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency during installations · Basic understanding of appropriate tools and equipment needed for successful install · Identify and request correct equipment type and quantities · Provide Daily Progress Reports to Project Superintendent as directed, including detailed project progress and issues · Reach out for solutions and alternatives to project issues and challenges promptly · Proper maintenance of company vehicles and any TFE owned assets and equipment needed for successful work duties · Ensure install instructions including specs and project requirements communication by leads are adhered to · Ensure installations meet both TFE standards and customer expectations · Understand and communicate information timely, professionally and effectively to Superintendent and lead Organizational Effectiveness · Maintain thorough understanding of and adherence to TFE administrative policies and procedures · Grow and maintain knowledge of Industry Standards and Best Practices, Local Codes, and OSHA requirements · Keep track of and maintain control of all TFE assets in your custody or used on site for implementation · Enter accurate time card and implementation status information daily Qualifications/Requirements: · 2 years + verifiable experience in physical security installations · State Security/Access Control License required · Continuing education up-to-date · The ability to pass a thorough state background check · The ability to configure IP based solutions and basic knowledge of port forwarding · Any RS2, Mercury, Axis, Salient, Genetec, Hanwha or other vendor certs necessary · Basic computer skills: working knowledge in Excel, Outlook and other industry related programs · Ability to work effectively both in a team or with minimal supervisor after given direction · Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time · Ability to perform physical duties in the field including lifting, climbing ladders and working machinery · Requires occasional travel and flexible schedule with seasonal extended hours and variable shifts · Basic understanding of primary technical lingo and common technical techniques needed to properly install · Basic exposure to and understanding of plans and specifications · Good communication skills both verbal and written · A demonstrated commitment to highly professional and ethical standards in a diverse workplace · Excellent people skills; open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to getting the job done · Ability to remain calm, focused and effective under time pressure situations · Eagerness to learn and grow skills · Positive Attitude · Coachable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Overtime Weekend availability Work Location: Multiple locations
