An exciting opportunity to join our client’s team as a PHP Developer (Backend) and to work on a project for a major player for 20 years in the critical communications market, present in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa, who has successfully developed its Team on mission and Team on the run software solutions for administrations and businesses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Developing, maintaining, and testing high quality software products
• Writing technical documentation
• Integrating new technologies in the products

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PHP and OOP
• Very good knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL database
• Experience using PHP frameworks (Symfony, Zend, Laravel, etc)
• Version control software experience (Git, Mercurial, Subversion)
• Person with initiative and ability to work as part of a team
• Good level in spoken and written English

Any or more of the following would be highly appreciated:

• Experience with large scale projects / products development
• Experience with web services (REST, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, SOAP)
• Caching technologies / mechanisms, queues
• Distributed systems knowledge
• Basic Linux OS knowledge
