Details about the Role

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer with a strong command of PHP to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to deliver seamless web experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Database Management: Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and security. Work with MySQL or other relational databases.
• API Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs into web applications.
• Code Review and Optimization: Regularly review code for efficiency, performance, and security, and make necessary optimizations.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs or issues in web applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and content creators to ensure consistent and high-quality user experiences.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, particularly in PHP, and apply them to ongoing projects.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all projects and codebases.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 4-8 years of professional experience in web development with a focus on PHP.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in PHP, with a strong understanding of its design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and cloud services.
• Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Knowledge of security practices in web development.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
