My client is looking for a talented PHP Developer with strong experience in Laravel and Vue.js, who also brings solid experience with testing best practices. Experience & Skills Required:

- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience

- Strong experience with modern PHP (8+) and Laravel

- Solid frontend development with Vue.js (Vue 2 or 3), including component-based architecture

- Experience writing and consuming REST APIs

- Proficient in TDD and automated testing, particularly using PHPUnit

- Familiar with end-to-end testing tools for Vue (e.g., Cypress, Vitest, or similar)

- Excellent understanding of MySQL, relational database design, and query optimisation

- Strong grasp of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and scalable design patterns

- Comfortable with Docker, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines

- Bonus: Experience working with Redis, Queues, or AWS services

What You'll Be Doing:

- Designing and developing scalable, secure applications using Laravel and Vue.js

- Writing robust unit and integration tests using PHPUnit and other testing tools

- Working within a TDD-first development approach to ensure high code quality

- Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers on full-stack features

- Participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions
