You Are

As a member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics, Planning & Delivery group, this PM/Scrum Master will be responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams to drive successful execution & completion of programs.

The Opportunity

Hybrid: In office/remote

  • Develop project plans, including defining project goals, objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. This involves creating a project schedule and establishing project milestones.
  • Overseeing project execution, monitoring progress, and ensuring that project activities are completed on time and within scope.
  • Understands overall scope and deliverables and map against release timeline.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet the required quality and security standards.
  • Identify and eliminate any impediments that obstruct the team's progress.
  • Manage changes to project scope, requirements, or timelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring coordination of work efforts at project level, understands and manages critical path key dependencies.
  • Works with Track Leads and Program Managers to understand status of work, efforts, and impact to the program to move delivery forward.
  • Drives resolution of risks, issues, and decisions, and escalates to governance forums, as necessary.
  • Facilitate scrum events (daily standups, other meetings) as needed.
  • Provides updates, guidance, and impediment review to stakeholders.
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation and meeting minutes
  • Biz Ops like data analysis, process Improvement to implement improvements in existing business processes.

What You Need

  • Must Have:
  • Scrum master or Project management experience using a formal methodology including Agile, scrum, Waterfall.
  • Create project plans which includes scope, schedule, cost, quality, organization, communication, staffing, risk and issue management.
  • Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and proactive problem solver self-motivated with ability to work well in teams and cross-departments.
  • Scrum master certified and worked as ScM for at least 3 years.
  • Expertise in SharePoint, JIRA and MS Office tools.
  • Nice to Have
  • PMP with 1-2 years of working experience as Business Analyst or Developer.
  • Knowledge in big data, data & analytics, Hadoop, SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Metrics Insight etc.), cloud (Azure, AWS), streaming technologies.
  • Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; works well under pressure.
  • BI Experience is plus.
  • Impact and influence – In times of high pressure, you listen to different perspectives, evaluate, persuade, and carefully shape team's work to deliver truly impactful results.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: California

Compensation Range: $95,000-$145,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
