Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.
- Inspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation
- Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
- Use baits and set traps to remove or kill pests
- Apply pesticides in and around buildings and other structures
- Design and carry out contract pest management plan
- Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building
- Record keeping, entry of records to be entered in to NOPRS
Qualifications - Experience, Education And Certification

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- Five (5) years’ experience on a government contract
- Five (5) years’ experience as a commercial pest controller
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics
- Basic knowledge of pest control and government regulations

Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
