Then please apply! We'd love to help train you and get you started in teaching classes and helping clients get to their goals! This job will be subbing. The opportunities will be Mondays & Wednesdays 6:45am - 1:115pm and Tuesdays & Thursdays 11:45am - 6:15pm when needed. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people become the best versions of themselves. We take teamwork and fitness seriously, and strive to integrate the best practices and latest techniques in health and fitness. Training and education will be provided and continuous learning is required. The opportunity We are currently looking for staff to teach group fitness classes, work floor shifts to supervise the fitness center, and offer fitness assessments and programming. Staff are encouraged to offer individual and small group coaching sessions and will earn commissions. Professional growth opportunities available as they become available. Qualifications Outgoing personality Responsible, organized, and reliable Passion for health, fitness, and helping others Desire to work with individuals and groups to coach them toward their fitness goals Thirst for knowledge and the desire to learn and grow as part of a team of professionals Basic computer/technology competency Experience in the fitness industry or athletics backgrounds is preferred If you are not currently certified by ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA or other nationally recognized certification board or have a degree in a related field we will help you prepare for one but you must be willing to get one of these certifications before you can work with clients. Must be willing to become CPR certified Must be willing to maintain personal training (CPT) and CPR certifications Duties and responsibilities Teach group classes of up to 15 people Maintain accurate paperwork for clients and sessions Enforce rules and regulations Work floor shifts to assist members and perform assessments and program design sessions Light cleaning of fitness equipment, fitness area, and locker rooms Communicate any equipment problems, member concerns, or suggestions to managementJob Types: Part-time, Commission Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: On-site gym Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift On call Work Location: In person
