• 1) Tracking of all import shipments
• 2) All documentation related to import and export with parties, CHA, Banks etc
• 3) Dealing with CHA / shipping lines for container pick-up etc
• The work involves dealing with international customers, suppliers and other agencies. Further the candidate has to be very computer savvy, especially on the internet.
• Customs Compliance: Working with customs brokers to facilitate the clearance of goods and ensuring compliance with all relevant import regulations.
• Shipment Tracking and Monitoring: Tracking shipments to prevent delays and ensure timely delivery.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Negotiating terms and pricing with suppliers to optimize costs.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Identifying and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the import process.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with international trade, such as delays, customs penalties, and currency fluctuations.
