We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including environmental law, securities law, and workers' compensation law. This role involves managing legal cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while providing exceptional support to clients throughout the process.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of legal matters, ensuring timely progression and adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and estate planning documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings or trials.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation in accordance with legal standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing any concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of discovery materials and other litigation-related tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations throughout the case management process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in a related field; paralegal certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of environmental law, securities law, workers' compensation law, and estate planning.
• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all work.
• Previous experience in a law office or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with legal case management software is advantageous.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
