Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide support with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Help residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times. Monitor and document changes in clients’ health or behavior, reporting any concerns to nursing staff. Facilitate social interaction and engage clients in meaningful activities. Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times. Administer first aid and CPR as needed, following established protocols. Assist with hospice care when required, providing comfort and support to clients and their families. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each individual. Experience Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar setting is preferred. Familiarity with resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients’ needs. Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
