The Opportunity
Applewood Plumbing Heating and Electric is looking for a talented and dynamic candidate to ensure timely and accurate order management and data entry to join our team as a Permit Technician/ Administrative Assistant. In this role you will complete job requirements on time and efficiently, helping achieve the company’s financial goals.
This position will be responsible for maintaining permit compliance and processing permits through the proper city/municipality to meet company deadlines.

The Responsibilities
- Accurately preparing and analyzing reports.
- Applying for City & County permits.
- Reviewing and maintaining Contractor licenses.
- Coordinating and ensuring timely completion of inspections.
- Reviewing and understanding job types.
- Communicating with inspectors and customers.
- Keeping track of all payment receipts for permits.
- Processing technician paperwork.
- Performing inspections.
- Processing cash payments.
- Driving company vehicle as needed.
- Assisting Customer Service, Dispatch, and other operational departments as assigned.
- Assisting in creation and implementation of standard operating procedures, as assigned.
- Verifying and ensuring records are accurate and complete in all systems.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong applicable knowledge of Microsoft office program such as Outlook, Word and Excel .
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and credit check.
