Location: TCS - Mumbai Only

Experience: 5+ Senior Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Perl-based applications and backend services.

• Write and optimize MySQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing legacy Perl codebases.

• Integrate with REST APIs, third-party services, and internal systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management.

• Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.

• Participate in architecture discussions and provide performance improvement suggestions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Perl programming.

• Strong experience in MySQL: writing queries, indexing, optimization.

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
