Job Description

Publicis Sapient is seeking a highly skilled Performance Testing Engineer to ensure optimal performance across our web applications. You will identify, test, and resolve performance bottlenecks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of application performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance testing strategies for web applications.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct tests across various browsers and network conditions.
• Utilize tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling for performance testing.
• Develop performance benchmarks for responsiveness and resource optimization.
• Optimize web applications for different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics such as web page load times and network requests.
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize infrastructure for web environments.
• Automate performance tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide performance optimization recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in performance engineering for web applications.
• Proficient in performance testing tools for web platforms.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with front-end web performance optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest).
• Experience with cloud services and their impact on performance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration tools.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Knowledge of cross-browser performance testing and optimization techniques.
