Job Summary:

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join our team for a hybrid role based in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in performance testing tools and scripting, along with the ability to analyze and resolve performance issues in complex systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests using HP LoadRunner, including scripting and scenario design.
• Utilize TrueClient protocol to simulate real user behavior and ensure application performance meets SLA benchmarks.
• Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis using Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Develop and maintain test scripts for performance and load testing.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to analyze application and system performance bottlenecks.
• Execute performance testing on MQ-based systems, identifying throughput, latency, and other metrics critical to enterprise messaging.
• Document test results, identify performance trends, and recommend improvements.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with HP LoadRunner (including TrueClient scripting).
• Proficiency with Dynatrace or equivalent APM tools.
• Experience with performance scripting, scenario execution, and results analysis.
• Familiarity with Message Queue (MQ) systems and performance implications.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
