Summary

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka (this is a full time, on-site role).

Reports to: Head of Digital Marketing.

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract.


W15 Collection is seeking a strategic and hands-on Performance Marketing Executive to lead campaign execution and optimization across digital channels with a direct focus on conversion. This role requires not only technical platform mastery but also the ability to interpret data, build dashboards, and communicate results to senior leadership—transforming insights into action in a high-paced, event-driven hospitality environment.


The right candidate is performance-minded, thrives in dynamic situations, and can work collaboratively with creatives, web teams, and property stakeholders to build marketing funnels that attract, engage, and convert high-value guests. This is a critical hire to expand our performance marketing capability, in line with our growth goals across local and international markets.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Full-Funnel Campaign Execution: Plan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Search, Display, YouTube, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other emerging channels for multiple W15 properties.
  • Direct Booking Growth: Implement conversion-focused strategies to increase direct bookings via the website, including audience segmentation, retargeting flows, and OTA disintermediation tactics.
  • Property-Specific Targeting: Customize campaigns per property based on unique selling points, seasonality, and target traveler personas (local and global).
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Build and maintain live dashboards using tools such as Google Looker Studio, GA4, and ad platform reporting. Present campaign performance in a clear, actionable format to directors and stakeholders.
  • Insight-Driven Optimization: Monitor campaign results daily, identify trends or issues, and respond quickly—especially during event-based or urgent last-minute promotional pushes.
  • Metric Ownership: Define, track, and analyze KPIs across the funnel—impressions, CTR, ROAS, CPA, booking conversions, etc.—and explain their significance within the hospitality context.
  • Collaborative Creative Input: Work alongside designers and content teams to develop and test creative formats that drive performance.
  • Tech Stack & Attribution: Set up conversion tracking (GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Conversion API), campaign attribution, and performance tagging across platforms.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in paid media buying, digital campaign execution, and performance optimization.
  • Deep proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Ads, and dynamic campaign bidding strategies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, UTM tagging, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with seasonality in hospitality, booking cycles, and consumer behavior in both local and global travel markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into compelling narratives for directors and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Capable of managing fast-turnaround campaigns for events, promotions, or urgent booking pushes.


Bonus Points for:


  • Working knowledge of Meta Conversion API, GTM custom events, or other advanced tracking techniques.
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, or event-based industries.
  • A strategic mindset balanced with tactical agility.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—especially in reporting and presenting insights.
