We are looking to add to our dynamic People Resource team at King’s Seafood Company. The People Talent Coordinator will be focused on ensuring all initial aspects of the recruiting process are being upheld to our standards. Partnering to build a strong candidate bench with the goal of being proactive versus reactive to turnover and retention. This person will lead the employer’s branding efforts and candidate flow for all open positions both hourly crew and management. This person will be responsible for recruiting analytics, bringing ideas to the group about trends, processes, and better ways to attract and retain people. Essential Job Functions
Sourcing and phone screening of candidates for match to openings.
Updating our open requisitions with current information and ensuring our language is accurate on our careers page (website)
Responsible for employer branding, advertising, and marketing of potential opportunities on multiple platforms.
Understanding our company’s beliefs and culture to properly represent King’s Seafood Company to potential crewmembers.
Strong and committed sourcing skills to find candidates.
Leading all background checks from submission to completion for management candidates.
Conduct all reference checks on candidates in the final stages.
Participate in weekly recruiting calls with General Managers.
Work closely with General Managers to ensure advertisements are updated, accurate and producing the desired results on a daily/weekly basis.
Essential Qualifications
1 year in recruiting field or equivalent education/training
College Degree or in pursuit of college degree (online education in the evenings -- this position is full-time during normal business hours 8am-5pm)
Understands hospitality as an industry (doesn’t mean has to work in the industry)
Achievement Driven -- let's set some goals!
Professional phone skills -- enjoys speaking to others by phone
Organized and efficient in spreadsheets, analytics, and assessing trends
Proficient written and verbal skills
Persuasive and tactful
Curious mind and eager to learn new things
Confidentiality -- sometimes what we do requires you to keep a secret
Experience in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
