We are an international technical solutions provider for the eCommerce and financial industries. Headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, with a representative office in Riga, Latvia, we have been fully operational and self-sustaining since 2020. As a fast-growing company, we anticipate expanding to 30-40 employees within the next 3-6 months in different locations and are looking for a seasoned professional to support our growth.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on People Operations Team Lead to take leadership of a small team responsible for HR, Office Administration and Marketing functions. This is a strategic and operational role, requiring someone who is not only capable of leading and structuring processes but also actively involved in day-to-day operations.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will review, refine, and implement best practices in HR, ensure smooth office administration, and drive employee engagement. While the company already has established HR and administrative processes, we need someone with strong expertise to optimize and maintain them effectively as we scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources Management
- Manage full-cycle HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and professional development.
- Review, improve, and implement HR policies and procedures to support a growing team.
- Handle day-to-day HR matters, ensuring employee engagement, satisfaction, and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters.
Office Administration
- Oversee and actively participate in daily office operations to maintain an efficient and well-organized workplace.
- Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, and operational needs.
- Implement and maintain administrative processes for smooth business operations.
Team Leadership & Process Optimization
- Lead and mentor a small People Operations team while being hands-on in daily tasks.
- Continuously review, optimize, and enhance existing processes.
- Ensure seamless operations that align with company goals and growth.
- Regularly communicate with Founders for synchronization, planning and strategy development purposes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Extensive experience in HR (minimum 3 years, ideally in a leadership role).
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and Latvian labor laws.
- Experience in office administration and operational support.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to structure, optimize, and implement operational processes.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Latvian, English, and Russian (both written and verbal).
