We’re looking for a People Manager to join our team in Amsterdam.


The role


As People Manager, you will take the lead in shaping and driving our HR strategy across the organization. You’ll report to the CFO and be a member of the Operational Management Team (OMT), where you’ll act as a key advisor on people-related decisions during an exciting scale-up phase. With strong leadership, strategic insight, and stakeholder management skills, you can build trust across all levels and turn vision into execution.


You’re not just joining to run HR, you’re joining to build it. In this role, you’ll set the tone for how we grow, lead, and care for our people as we scale. This is your chance to embed culture into structure and create a future-ready organization that puts people first.


You’ll manage the HR Officer and Office Manager, work closely with interim recruiters, and prepare our organization for the future, especially with the opening of our new production facility in Ter Apelkanaal.


Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a forward-thinking HR strategy that supports business growth and culture

• Set up scalable HR processes and structures for our expanding, multi-site organization

• Act as a strategic partner to leadership and advise on organizational development

• Lead recruitment and employer branding efforts for both HQ and our new facility

• Drive leadership development and company culture through training and engagement initiatives

• Build strong local partnerships for recruitment and training in Ter Apelkanaal

• Guide and develop the HR and Office team to deliver strong operations and employee experience


Desired qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum of 10 years relevant HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role

• Experience in a scale-up or industrial/production environment is a plus

• Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and compliance

• Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on in a growing organization

• Willing to travel to Ter Apelkanaal (approx. 10% of the time)

• Fluent in both Dutch and English.
