As our People Experience Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient people processes. At The Lottery Corporation, a leading ASX-listed company, we're looking for a driven People Experience Coordinator to join our dynamic People & Culture team on a 14 month contract opportunity based in our Brisbane office.

This is your chance to be a vital part of a team that values its people and fosters a culture of engagement. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our people processes, providing essential support and advice across the organisation.

What you'll do

Imagine being at the forefront of creating a remarkable first impression for every new member joining The Lottery Corporation.

This pivotal role is central to ensuring a seamless and engaging start for our new colleagues, setting the stage for their success and embedding them in our vibrant culture. Beyond this crucial element, you'll be a vital engine for the People & Culture team, contributing to a wide array of impactful initiatives.

This includes providing essential support in financial management and invoicing, playing a key part in our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) marketing campaigns and reporting, managing team travel arrangements, and actively assisting in projects designed to enhance our overall people experience. You'll also be involved in merchandise management, supporting team and business functions, and efficiently managing the People Experience email inbox by addressing and delegating queries.

This exciting opportunity also offers avenues to learn about talent acquisition and provide process support to our Talent Acquisition team, as well as some support to our People Communication team. Furthermore, you'll gain valuable experience in administrative functions such as calendar management, procurement, and invoicing.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in a HR administration or coordination role, with a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to support and assist employees at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience in managing budgets and processing invoices is highly desirable.
  • Experience with LinkedIn marketing campaigns, particularly for employer branding, would be advantageous.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a growing team.
