Job Summary: Design and build components of enterprise applications and provide consultative guidance on all project assignments for our clients. Working on-site at a customer location (or remotely if acceptable by the client), this role will work as part of a project team to ensure that the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer requirements. At times, this position will lead aspects of design, development and mentoring of resources. In this role, you will: * Partner with both the client and the business team to develop high quality deliverables across all phases of a project (requirements gathering, design and build phases, user acceptance testing, etc.) * Leverage your expertise to consult and influence the client's direction, doing Pega the Pega way. * Demonstrate commitment to and enthusiasm for the clients success by taking personal accountability to ensure that the product is fully-functioning, meets business requirements, and approved by our client. * Mentor and train client business stakeholders * Mentor and train more junior Hoverstate employees The Ideal Candidate: A highly technical, hands-on, motivated and collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills and proven experience working with diverse teams of technical architects, business users and IT teams. Additionally, this person must have a history of working with clients on all phases of the software development life-cycle. Qualifications will include: * Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field * 5 years of progressive experience or masters degree with 3 years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications * Pega Senior System Architect certification is preferred, but not required * Experience with various Cloud platforms and technologies * Experience working with multiple project methodologies, including agile, scrum and waterfall * Excellent time management and organization skills as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities * Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate * Willingness to go the extra mile for the client * Dedication to a team-oriented environment with the ability to drive and lead by example * Exposure to a variety to technologies, including object-oriented techniques/principles, database design, application & web servers, not just Pega. * Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; ability to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders * Ability to Travel at least 50% * A positive attitude and self-motivated with a thirst for knowledge Location: Preferred location is Lubbock, TX area. Los Angeles, CA and Oakland, CA are acceptable.
