Position: Pega Application Developer
Job Summary: - As a Pega Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Pega-based solutions to meet the business requirements of our clients. You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of Pega applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop Pega applications using Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander).
2. Collaborate with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Configure and customize Pega applications to meet business needs.
4. Develop and implement integration solutions with other systems and applications.
5. Perform unit testing and support system testing and user acceptance testing.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Pega applications.
7. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
9. Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies and industry trends.
Mandatory skills: -
· Proven experience as a Pega Developer with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
· Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC and Pega frameworks.
· Experience with Pega integration services such as SOAP, REST, and JMS.
· Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Pega certification (CSA, CSSA, or CLSA) is highly desirable.
· Experience with Pega 8.x versions.
· Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
· Understanding of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
· Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 7 + yrs as Pega Developer/ Pega application developer with above mandate skills and responsiblites.
