Major job duties * Working one-on-one with students to tutor writing organization, style, citation, clarity and more. * Supporting drop-in tutoring services and participating in campus outreach. * Paid professional development opportunities include: * Initial training. * Subsequent in-service trainings. * Community learning sessions. * Potentially, embedded tutoring. Qualifications and experience We are looking for confident students with excellent writing skills and solid interpersonal communication skills to tutor their peers in written assignments across disciplines. * Completion of WRIT 131 and 231 with grades of B+ preferred. * We're looking for students who could tutor for at least one academic year. * Graduate students may be eligible at pay level E.
