At Northshore Pediatric Therapy, our mission is to provide effective, evidence-based, and compassionate clinical services to our pediatric clients and their families.

We are a small private practice in Washington State with two locations - one in Kenmore and one in Shoreline. The Opportunity

We are in search of a dedicated speech-language pathologist to join our growing practice. We’d love to welcome a full- or part-time clinician to the team. Let’s start the conversation and go from there!


Benefits and Compensation

  • $50.00 - $55.00 per hour depending on experience and education

You

As a member of our team, you have the following education, certification, and licensure:

  • A master's degree in speech-language pathology (in fulfillment of the requirements of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
  • A current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • A valid professional license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Washington or plans to obtain one if moving from out-of-state


You also have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:

  • Knowledge of child development, with a focus on development of communication skills (i.e., speech, language, social, cognitive)
  • Experience working with children who have challenges related to speech/language/communication, neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or complex medical needs (or willingness and motivation to gain this experience)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members at Northshore and in the community
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills


Brownie points for:

  • Experience working in an outpatient setting
  • Experience in pediatric feeding therapy and/or interest in developing this skill set


What You'll Do

  • Provide patient- and family-centered clinical services
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders in children
  • Provide direct and indirect treatment for pediatric speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders according to each child's diagnosis and treatment plan
  • Complete relevant paperwork such as (but not limited to) evaluation reports, plans of care, progress notes, daily treatment notes (i.e., SOAP notes), and discharge reports
  • Provide training and education to families/caregivers and other professionals
  • Work collaboratively with professionals within and beyond our practice, such as teachers and other clinical service providers
  • Provide counseling and consultative services to family/caregivers as appropriate
  • Make referrals to other providers and community resources as appropriate for each child
