Process Engineer is responsible for establishing the overall process requirement to build the PCBA according to client specification.

• supports continuous improvement to meet target FPY, throughput and scrap reduction;
• supports cross functional team such as QE, TE, Planner, Production to achieve Hi-P KPI while maintaining world class quality product;
• responsible for the process development, FMEA, concept design for jigs, tooling, fixture required in the manufacturing of PCBA products;
• supports Program Manager or Program Engineer in the fabrication of Stencils, Selective pallets, Assembly fixtures, and other jigs needed for NPI, ECN and mass production run;
• supports Program Manager or Program Engineer on NRE list, NPI build readiness and actual NPI run;
• interfaces with the client at the request of Program Manager or Engineering Manager in order to understand technical requirement for all product aspects of production;
• generates work Instruction, forms, procedures and other engineering documents required for the production build;
• establish machine parameter settings as a result of DOE and document it for process control and quality improvement;
• provides work direction and technical assistance to Process technicians, SMT technicians, Assembly technicians and other engineers to define and maintain efficient manufacturing process, minimum down time to produce products, scrap cost and first pass yield improvement;
• provides initial training to production personnel on assembly process during NPI, ECN, Mass production run;
• conducts a daily meeting with the technicians to refresh and/ or update the information received;
• conducts an orientation or refresher of criteria/specifications to all technicians and/ or associates that need to know and are involved in the process;
• generates a daily and/ or weekly report as defined by the internal and/ or external client;
• validates the corrective actions implemented by the SMT, Process and Assembly technicians to ensure the effectiveness; and
• spearheads the root cause, corrective action & preventive action analysis to improve the quality, cost and delivery;
• adheres to all information security and physical security policies and programs;
• follows health and safety standards; and
• other tasks as assigned by Immediate Superior.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree related to any Engineering field

Training or Certification:

Any training certification related to this position is an advantage

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA (Product and Process)
