Role Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PCB layouts for various electronic devices.
  • Experience in integrating wireless modules Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Lora, etc
  • Experience in designing battery powered circuits.
  • Conduct circuit simulations to verify designs and performance specifications.
  • Perform signal integrity analysis to ensure design reliability.
  • Complete Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis for manufacturable designs.
  • Utilize ECAD tools to create schematic captures and PCB designs.
  • Select suitable components based on technical specifications and availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
  • Create detailed design documentation and technical reports.
  • Review and validate designs to meet industry standards.
  • Address and resolve design issues during the prototyping phase.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PCB design techniques and technologies.
  • Support manufacturing teams in the assembly and testing of PCBs.
  • Participate in design review meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Continuously improve PCB design processes and methodologies.
  • Train and mentor junior engineering staff as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in PCB design and layout.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, OrCAD).
  • Familiarity with electronics testing and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of design specifications and project lifecycles.
  • Experience with signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards and regulations.
  • Experience in prototyping and testing of PCB designs.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently when necessary.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.
