Payroll Specialist – 11-Month Contract

Location: 100% Onsite | Plano, TX

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible Start Time (between 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM)

Duration: 11-month contract with potential for permanent hire, based on business needs

We’re seeking candidates with 2+ years of high-volume payroll experience and strong Excel and general ledger skills who are ready to contribute in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage payroll for 1,000+ employees with accuracy and efficiency
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions in compliance with policy and legal requirements
• Collaborate from Plano, TX with an international payroll team
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely reporting
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues
• Partner with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee and payroll data
• Stay informed on payroll laws, tax updates, and compliance requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience processing high-volume payroll
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, including debits/credits, GL accounting, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
